Job Summary
Senior Career Advancement Specialist at Broadway Day Services leads employment development, program innovation, and staff onboarding to help adults with disabilities pursue supported and competitive integrated employment, collegiate pathways, and workforce readiness. Responsibilities include delivering individualized and group-based career readiness and job coaching, conducting assessments, integrating independent living and soft skills into programming, developing relationships with employers and collegiate partners, expanding competitive employment opportunities, coordinating job shadowing and training, supervising and mentoring new specialists, leading monthly best-practice meetings, and designing quarterly employment initiatives. Requires leading 35 hours per week, flexible hours, strong communication with families and DDS, data collection and billing using Penelope software, and compliance with ISP/Life Plan goals. Qualifications include a High School Diploma (advanced education preferred), 1–3 years in human services or related placement, marketing/sales experience preferred, First Aid/CPR and Safety Care or willingness to certify, MA driver’s license with clean record, personal vehicle, and ability to pass background checks. This on-site role is located in Malden, MA, US, with full-time hours (40 hrs/week) and occasional schedule flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; additional Education preferred
- One to Three years of Human Services job placement experience preferred
- Some Marketing and/or Sales experience preferred
- First Aid/CPR and Safety Care or willingness to become certified.
- Massachusetts Driver's License and clean driving record required
- Personal vehicle required
- Must clear state and federal background check
