Job Summary
Senior Care Specialist role focusing on launching and stabilizing new cases, supporting new client starts (especially urgent/high-priority cases) and introducing permanent caregivers to families; serving as a key member of the weekday response team to cover last-minute call-offs and urgent shifts (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM) across DuPage and Will County; providing hands-on care (personal care, mobility transfers, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation); coordinating caregiver onboarding and mentoring; documenting care notes and communicating updates to Care Manager and leadership; problem-solving in real time while maintaining calm and professional demeanor; growth opportunities into Care Leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home care experience
- Experience supporting dementia, bed bound, and higher acuity clients
- Gait Belt and Hoyer Lift experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, dependable, and professional under pressure
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable documenting care notes using mobile apps or EMR systems
- Must live within DuPage or Will County
- Willingness to travel throughout DuPage and Will County
