Prepare meals for 20+ senior residents by organizing monthly meal calendars and baking sides per chef instructions. Maintain daily and monthly kitchen cleanliness while managing pantry organization. Work full shifts with reliable attendance, including weekends and Saturdays as needed, supporting a dedicated team that prioritizes dignity and comfort for residents. This part-time role at Birch Meadows, a family-owned facility since 1960, requires compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Compassion and respect for the elderly
- Prior cooking and baking experience
- Physical endurance and strength
- Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
- Ability to work in partnership with other employees to maintain excellent employee relations, high employee morale, and world class senior care
- Commitment to working a full shift, arriving on time, and working overtime as needed
- Availability to work weekend and or Saturdays as needed
