Job Summary
Lead a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and trusted point of support while delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity and independence for residents. Assist with personal care, meals, and daily living tasks, administer medication following training and guidelines, and update care plans to maintain accurate records. Ensure the environment remains clean, organised, and hygienic while supporting family members and visitors. This 42-hour full-time night shift role requires a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, two years' experience, and strong skills in delegation and communication. Required Qualifications
- At least a minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/or working towards it)
- Trained in medication administration
- Excellent people and customer service skills
- Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff
- Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team
- Excellent communication skills – verbal (within the team and to other external professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) and digital skills
- Caring attitude
- Flexible and reliable
- Shift: Nights
