Job Summary
Senior Care Assistant in Bangor delivering person-centred care across community services, combining hands-on care with supervision and quality assurance. Responsibilities include supporting and reviewing individual care packages and needs/risk assessments, coordinating rota planning with Care Coordinators, mentoring and supervising Care Assistants in the field, shadowing new starters with observations and competency checks, and participating in multi-disciplinary reviews with accurate record-keeping. The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care, working primarily in the community with some office duties, and involves on-call and weekend shifts. Requirements include experience in care, a compassionate and reliable approach, and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle. Full-time, 9am–5pm with on-call and weekend duties; driver required.
