Job Summary
Lead a team of Care Assistants by driving shift handovers, supervising new staff training, and managing unit operations alongside clinical duties. Support the nurse with medication issuance, care plan reviews, and accurate record keeping while assisting residents with personal care. Build relationships with residents, families, and external teams including GPs and District Nurses. Requires NVQ3 in care or equivalent, with 33-hour shifts including nights and alternate weekends.
