Senior Care Accounts Receivable Director

Job Summary
Oversee centralized billing and collections functions for skilled nursing communities, ensuring timely reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay sources. Lead and mentor regional AR staff, project billers, and specialists while driving process improvements to maximize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables. Analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify efficiency opportunities and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Partner with clinical and operational leaders to resolve billing issues and support the implementation of new systems. This role provides strategic leadership for the Senior Care Division at Ascentria Care Alliance, a mission-driven organization strengthening communities across New England.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Three or more years of leadership experience in healthcare billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay billing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement
