Job Summary
Senior Capture Manager needed to lead government-focused business development from opportunity qualification through strategic capture and proposal development. Responsibilities include strategic planning and execution, client and partner relations, market analysis, sales and revenue growth, and proposal development, with travel 25-50%. Role supports delivery of communications, networking, and computing solutions for U.S. defense agencies across airborne, maritime, and ground environments. Based out of Washington, DC or San Diego, CA. Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8+ years leading capture for government/defense, DoD acquisition and proposal experience, 3-5 years direct management of complex capture efforts, ability to develop professional engagement materials, DoD contract experience, strong leadership throughout capture, US citizenship, and active US Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one. Proven track record of bookings/sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum eight (8) years’ experience leading capture of system development and production work and developing complex technical solutions for government and related industry stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with DoW (DoD) acquisition and proposal process
- Minimum three (5) years’ experience with direct management of complex solutions and development capture efforts for defense community and government clients
- Ability to develop professional engagement materials, including whitepapers, presentations, and media
- Understanding of and experience with DoW (DoD) Contracts
- Ability to quickly demonstrate strong leadership throughout the capture process for internal and external stakeholders
- US Citizen
- Active US Secret Clearance or willingness and ability to obtain US Secret Clearance
- Proven, quantifiable track record of defining and achieving bookings or sales targets
