Job Summary
Operate the company aircraft with final authority, ensuring all flight and ground operations comply with federal and foreign regulations. Plan and execute international flights while maintaining the highest standards of safety for passengers and crew. Make decisions to start, delay, or cancel flights based on operating conditions and monitor crew performance to delegate duties efficiently. Develop and maintain mastery of aircraft systems and emergency equipment, completing required flight logs and post-flight storage tasks. Mentor less-experienced crewmembers and provide leadership through effective communication with passengers and executives. This role requires an FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate with extensive international operations experience. Candidates must hold a valid FAA medical certificate and possess previous corporate aviation flight experience.
Required Qualifications
- Hold FAA Airline Transport Pilot - Airplane Multiengine Land Certificate (ATP)
- Hold a valid FAA medical certificate
- Applicant must have previous flight experience in a corporate aviation department
- Extensive international operations required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Educational and/or training background in an aviation related field desired
- Type rating and pilot and command experience in aircraft operated by the company preferred
- Experience in flight instruction or teaching desirable
