Job Summary

Develop and maintain stress testing processes, methodologies, and documentation for the Annual Enterprise-Wide Stress Test and quarterly loan-level stress testing. Coordinate internal and external resources supporting enterprise stress testing initiatives, prepare analyses and forecasting models for Capital and Loan Portfolio Stress Test Committees, and develop analytical tools for loan and deposit balance forecasting. Identify process improvements, execute project plans, and monitor regulatory requirements while managing reporting and resolution of risks. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations, providing thought leadership for operational activities related to acquisitions. This role supports strategic decision-making by partnering with leaders across Finance, Risk, and business lines to deliver insights to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related quantitative discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services or banking within a commercial banking organization or top-tier management consulting firm

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • experience with enterprise-wide stress testing, Basel III capital planning, and model risk management
  • experience with quantitative analysis, modeling, or strategic analytics within the financial services industry
  • experience with financial reporting software, ALM software, BancWare, database applications, or R Studio
  • deep knowledge of enterprise-wide stress testing processes, including forecasting loan and deposit balances and pre-provision net revenue
  • effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • quickly build partnerships, credibility, and trust with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
  • strong data analysis, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • demonstrated success working with cross-functional stakeholders and navigating complex initiatives
  • communicate clearly and confidently through both written and verbal communication, including technical and executive-level presentations
  • strong technical writing skills and can translate complex concepts into meaningful business insights
  • understand federal and state laws and regulations related to accounting, financial reporting, and stress testing
