Job Summary
Senior Capital Project Manager accountable for the full lifecycle of capital projects within the Facilities & Workplace department, from programming through close-out. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality; ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations; developing governance structures and capital portfolio processes; coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, vendors/contractors, and management; conducting site inspections; preparing cost estimates, status reports, and management presentations; and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Requires extensive PM experience in commercial/industrial construction, strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency with PM software and MS Office, and ability to travel to project sites. Preferred qualifications include professional certification (PE, PMP, CCM, LEED AP) and experience with large budgets (> $50M) and capital programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
- Experience managing multiple capital projects concurrently with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in commercial and industrial Tenant Improvements and ground up construction projects
- Excellent understanding of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations
- Strong people, organization, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
