Senior Capital Formation Analyst, Renewable Energy

Job Summary
Execute end-to-end offtake, financing, and M&A transactions from early structuring through closing, including pressure-testing commercial assumptions and coordinating diligence inputs. Own financial analysis and modelling for offtake RFPs, project finance structures, and portfolio-level capital raises while preparing Investment Committee materials and supporting Q&A. Manage transaction trackers, data rooms, and investor diligence requests across US renewable energy deals. Conduct ad hoc market research and support rapid opportunity assessments for emerging technologies. Operate under tight timelines with senior-level exposure to drive transaction discipline and identify process gaps.
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, infrastructure consulting, or a related analytical role
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- comfortable working with imperfect information
- Demonstrated interest in and exposure to capital formation, project finance, or complex transactions
- High accountability mindset—takes ownership, follows through, and closes loops
- Ability to operate under tight timelines with shifting priorities and senior-level exposure
- Clear communicator—can synthesize complexity into concise, data-driven outputs
- Strong understanding of US renewable energy markets and the energy transition landscape
- Ability to engage credibly with lenders, tax equity investors, and strategic partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfort presenting to senior internal and external stakeholders
