Operate single-camera shoots independently and capture high-quality stills photography on location, delivering visually strong sequences with moderate artistic and technical complexity. Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to junior staff while collaborating with producers and directors to translate visual needs into compelling pictures. Work at the highest level of craft complexity across a variety of productions, including studio and outside broadcast environments, adapting quickly to fast-moving news situations. This role within the BBC Wales camera team supports journalists who value creativity and editorial rigour, directly influencing how audiences understand stories that matter.
