Senior Cage Cashier (Full Time)

Job Summary
Conduct fast, accurate monetary transactions for guests including sales, check cashing, chip redemption, and lottery voucher processing while verifying valid photo IDs. Safeguard company assets by reconciling money, paperwork, and bank deposits before, during, or after shifts, and process front money withdrawals and wire transfers. Assist management with emergency slot drops, conducting count drops, and building cassettes for ticket redemption machines. Handle guest disputes, complaints, and promotional item distribution in accordance with casino and gaming regulations. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and clean public areas to ensure a safe environment. Perform duties as a Main Banker or Cage Cashier depending on shift assignments, working flexible hours including holidays in a high-pressure casino setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months previous Cage Cashier, marketing, banking cashiering or similar related experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Must have the ability to remain professional and tolerate stress related to servicing public guests in a high pressure and fast-paced environment on the Casino Gaming floor
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm during stressful and fast paced situations
- Must be able to be constantly exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including, but not limited to second hand smoke and excessive noise
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with working in a vault
- Prior experience working with automated currency counters, coin counting machines and motorized cassette carts
