Senior CAD Technician

Job Summary
Prepare detailed staking calculations, construction layout plans, and survey documents to support field operations. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, and other drafting software to develop deliverables including staking plans, topographic maps, and as-built drawings. Analyze construction plans, site plans, grading plans, and utility profiles to generate precise staking data while collaborating with project managers and field crews. Review and process field data from GPS and total stations, perform deed and record research for property boundaries, and develop digital terrain models. Maintain meticulous records of field calculations and assist in preparing daily field work packages including point maps and cut sheets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of CAD experience drafting topographic or ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys
- BS or associates degree with emphasis on Surveying, Geomatics or Computer Aided Drafting
- certification as an NSPS CST Level II
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience working in AutoCAD, Carlson Survey preferred
