Job Summary
Lead design concept development for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and regulatory constraints. Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, then collaborate with engineers and project managers to integrate multidisciplinary elements. Oversee coordination across disciplines, conduct site visits to assess construction progress, and generate reports based on findings. Interpret building codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance, while calculating material quantities and cost estimates to support civil engineering projects. Coordinate construction plans across disciplines and ensure timely submission of design documents to regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in water utilities design, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Minimum 5–10 years of specialized experience in water/wastewater CAD design
