Job Summary
Senior CAD Designer role involves independently developing powertrain product designs, creating complex 3-D models, and mentoring other designers. Requires a strong background in CAD design, with a minimum of five years experience, primarily using SolidWorks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a CAD Designer
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience with other CAD software such as Creo, CoCreate, Solid Designer, Pro-E, Inventor, or similar
- Previous experience with castings, machining, material selection, and ERP systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of computer applications
- Knowledgeable in use of GDT
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using CAD based FEA and/or related engineering software to evaluate design iterations
- Knowledge of I.C. engines, materials, and manufacturing processes
