Job Summary
Senior C#/.NET Engineer needed to contribute to full-stack development of .NET back-end services with C#, MVC, and REST APIs. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software systems integration, CI/CD deployment, maintain performance/quality of applications, support production solutions, promote test automation and modular design, collaborate with stakeholders, document designs, and utilize IDEs like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git. Must apply strong software engineering practices, mentor junior developers, and work in an Agile environment. Security best practices for web apps and APIs, and experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related engineering/technical discipline
- Five (5) or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core
- Strong knowledge of MVC, OOP, design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL Server/Entity Framework
- Cloud familiarity (Azure and AWS)
- Experience with Git, VCS (TFS/TFVC)
- Understanding of CI/CD practices/tools
- Experience with NUnit/xUnit/MSTest
- Proficiency with Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior developers
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Security best practices for web apps and APIs
- Knowledge of microservices and containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
