Job Summary
Senior C#/.Net Software Engineer at a remote-enabled, U.S.-based role within Syms Strategic Group, responsible for full-stack development using .NET (C#) including back-end MVC, REST APIs, and CI/CD; collaborate in Agile teams, mentor juniors, perform design/documentation (DIagrams, data flows), ensure performance and security, and interface with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level software and solutions. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of .NET experience, with Public Trust clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required with eight (8) or more years of experience
- Five (5) or more years of experience of software development using .Net technologies
- Experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core, C#
- Proficiency in MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework
- Experience with Azure and AWS
- CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
- Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- GIT, TFS/TFVC
- Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
- DevOps and IaC
- Security best practices for web apps/APIs
- Mentoring junior developers
- Code reviews
- Performance tuning
- Experience with microservices and containers (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s/PhD optional per posting
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
- Public Trust clearance
- Proven leadership in enterprise-level development
