Job Summary
Senior C#/.NET Engineer role seeking a veteran software professional to perform technical planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution, and software systems integration across full-stack .NET back-end with C#. Responsibilities include participating in daily stand-ups, delivering CI/CD-enabled solutions, ensuring performance and quality, providing production support, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with stakeholders. The role emphasizes Agile practices, design patterns, test automation, modularization, code reviews, and security best practices in web applications and APIs, using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and related tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required with eight (8) or more years of experience; Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline along with five (5) or more years of experience; Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline along with three (3) or more years of experience
- Five (5) or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with a strong understanding of C#
- Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and .Net core
- Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs
- Proficiency in SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with version control (Git, TFS/TFVC)
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools
- Experience with NUnit, xUnit, MSTest
- Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with DevOps and IaC
- Security best practices for web apps/APIs
- Code reviews and mentoring
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with third-party libraries/SDKs
- Formal education as listed; citizenship and security constraints as described in posting
