Job Summary
Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net) responsible for technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software systems integration, and technical support for software systems. Role includes full-stack development with .Net/C#, unit testing, CI/CD deployment, Agile practices, design documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders. Responsibilities cover backend development, using MVC/.NET Core, RESTful APIs, SQL Server/Entity Framework, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), code reviews, mentoring, and ensuring performance/quality of applications.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .NET framework and .NET Core, with a strong understanding of C#
- Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and .Net core
- Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs
- Proficiency in SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)
- Experience with Git and TFS/TFVC
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools
- Knowledge of NUnit/xUnit/MSTest for unit testing
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Familiarity with DevOps and IaC
- Understanding of security best practices for web apps and APIs
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with third-party libraries and SDKs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
