Job Summary
Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) responsible for leading full-stack development using C#/.Net, MVC, REST APIs, and cloud services. Will participate in Agile team activities, perform design and implementation of back-end services, ensure performance and quality, conduct unit testing, CI/CD deployment, and provide mentorship to junior developers. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical field with 8+ years of experience, strong .NET/.NET Core expertise, SQL Server/Entity Framework experience, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS), and ability to work in a 100% U.S.-based remote role with citizenship and security clearance prerequisites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline plus eight (8) or more years of experience in software development; Master’s degree with five (5) or more years; Ph.D. with three (3) or more years
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
- Public Trust (MBI) security clearance or ability to obtain
- 100% U.S.-based remote position with restriction that candidates from CA, CO, IL, NJ, or NY will not be considered
- Experience with .Net framework and .Net Core, C#, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Cloud familiarity (Azure and AWS)
- CI/CD practices and tools
- Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and IaC
- Security best practices for web apps and APIs
- Experience with performance tuning and API integration
- X.12 (EDI) knowledge desired
