Job Summary
Senior Software Systems Engineer for a 100% USA-based remote role focused on full-stack .NET development. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software integration, and production support; participate in daily stand-ups; develop back-end services in C#/.NET with MVC; unit testing (NUnit/xUnit/MSTest); CI/CD deployments; ensure performance, quality, and security; document designs and diagrams; collaborate with stakeholders; promote good engineering practices, and mentor junior developers within an Agile framework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline (required) with 5+ years of software development experience using .NET technologies
- Expertise in .NET framework and .NET Core with strong C# skills
- Proficiency in backend development using MVC architecture
- Experience with RESTful APIs and database design with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices (CI/CD)
- Experience with version control (Git, TFVC)
- Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Security best practices for web apps and APIs
- Experience with performance tuning, third-party libraries, and SDKs
- Familiarity with microservices and containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
- Formal security clearance requirements (Public Trust) as applicable
