Job Summary
Senior Software Systems Engineer (.NET Developer) for a 100% US-based remote role. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software systems integration, and technical support for software systems. Active participation in daily stand-ups, full-stack development using C#/.NET, MVC, and back-end services, unit testing (NUnit/xUnit/MSTest), and CI/CD deployment. Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications; provide production support; implement Agile solutions for reusable components; interface with stakeholders for requirements; promote test automation, modularization, and simplification; document designs (diagrams, data flows, module descriptions); use IDEs such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git. Requires 5+ years of experience, Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (with advanced degrees optional), U.S. citizenship, and Public Trust clearance. This is a full-time remote position with location controls restricting applicants from CA, CO, IL, NJ, or NY.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this opportunity
- Public Trust (MBI) clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline (required) with eight or more years of experience; Master’s Degree and/or Ph.D. as applicable per description
- Five or more years of professional experience in software development using .NET technologies
- Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core; C# expertise
- Experience with MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework
- Cloud familiarity (Azure and AWS)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to mentor and lead junior developers
- Strong problem-solving and communications skills
