Job Summary
Senior C#/.Net Developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level software systems in a remote U.S.-based role. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software system and subsystem integration, and ongoing support; contribute to full-stack development with .NET back-end, C#, MVC, unit testing, and CI/CD deployments. Engage in Agile practices, document software designs, interface with stakeholders, promote good software engineering practices, review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure performance, quality, and security of web applications and APIs. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with eight+ years of .NET experience, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain an appropriate security clearance. Remote position with country-specific eligibility constraints (U.S.-based remote; certain states may be excluded).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline; eight (8) or more years of experience
- U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity
- Public Trust (MBI) security clearance or eligibility
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience in software development using .NET technologies
- Experience with .Net framework and .Net Core, C#
- Experience with MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Knowledge of DevOps and IaC
- Security best practices for web apps and APIs
- Mentor/guide junior developers
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience with third-party libraries and SDKs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degrees are listed as desirable
