Job Summary
Senior C#/.Net Developer for a 100% US-based remote role with Syms Strategic Group. Responsible for technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software systems integration, and technical support across back-end and full-stack .NET development (C#, MVC, .NET Core). Participate in daily stand-ups, ensure performance/quality/responsiveness of applications, support production deployments, implement agile-driven building blocks for reusability, interface with stakeholders, promote test automation and modular design, document designs, utilize Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git, and mentor junior developers. Requires strong .NET, REST APIs, SQL Server/EF, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS), CI/CD, unit testing, DevOps/IaC, security best practices, and proven collaboration within Agile teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related engineering/technical discipline with eight (8) or more years of experience; Master’s Degree with five (5) or more years; Ph.D. with three (3) or more years (as applicable)
- Five (5) or more years of software development experience using .Net technologies
- Experience with .Net framework and .Net Core; C#
- Experience with MVC and RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS
- Experience with Git, TFS/TFVC
- CI/CD practices and tools
- Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Knowledge of DevOps and IaC
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior developers
- Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
- Security best practices for web apps and APIs
- Remote work in a US-based setting
- U.S. Citizenship required
