Job Summary
Senior C#/.NET Developer - II (Remote, US-based) leads and contributes to full-stack development using .NET technologies. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software system integration, and operational support for software systems. Collaborates as an active software development team member, participates in daily stand-ups, and implements long-term modular solutions within Agile frameworks. Utilizes back-end development with C# and .NET Core, MVC, and RESTful APIs; ensures performance, quality, and security of web applications and APIs; mentors junior developers; conducts code reviews; documents designs and data flows; and employs CI/CD pipelines using tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git. Requires strong OOP, design patterns, experience with SQL Server/Entity Framework, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS), CI/CD, testing frameworks (NUnit/xUnit/MSTest), and a proactive, results-driven approach. Citizenship and security clearances: U.S. citizenship is required; Public Trust (MBI) clearance is required. The role is 100% remote within the U.S. with restrictions on applicants from certain states.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with eight or more years of experience; Master’s Degree with five or more years; Ph.D. with three or more years (as stated)
- Eight+ years of experience with .Net technologies
- Proficiency in C# and .Net Core
- Experience with MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
- Cloud familiarity (Azure and AWS)
- CI/CD practices and tools
- Experience with NUnit/xUnit/MSTest
- Experience with Visual Studio and VS Code
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring abilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Security best practices for web apps and APIs
- DevOps/infrastructure as code
- Experience with microservices and containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
- Unit testing and performance tuning
- Knowledge of third-party libraries and SDKs
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- W2 employment
- U.S. citizenship required
