Job Summary
Senior Software Systems Engineer specializing in .NET development, leading and contributing to full-stack initiatives using C#/.NET, MVC, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD within an Agile team. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software systems integration, deployment support, and documenting designs. The role emphasizes hands-on development of back-end services using .NET, database design with SQL Server, and cloud familiarity (Azure and AWS), along with experience in unit testing, code quality practices, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale software solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering/technical discipline (or equivalent)
- Experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core, C#
- Experience with MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Experience with Git, TFS/TFVC, and CI/CD practices
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and IaC
- Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and APIs
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Mentoring ability for junior developers
- Ability to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- US Citizenship required
- Public Trust (MBI) security clearance or eligibility
