Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of a new global accounting platform using C# .Net, AWS, and cloud-native technologies. Serve as the primary technical resource for all cloud-related issues due to limited in-house cloud expertise, managing tasks involving AWS Aurora, RDS, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes, and Docker. Leverage deep experience with C# .Net, message-based systems like Kafka, and data warehousing to build and maintain this pivotal project. Apply strong analytical and communication skills within an Agile environment to drive progress on this large-scale initiative.
Required Qualifications
- 8 or more years developing software with C# .Net technologies
- Message based experience (ideally Kafka)
- Understanding of data warehousing in AWS
- Strong communication, team working and analytical skills
- Strong background with cloud based development, ideally with AWS
- Experience with most of the following: AWS Aurora, RDS, S3, Lamdas, Kubernetes, Docker
Desired Qualifications
- Background in finance, portfolio accounting, reporting systems would be beneficial
- Advent Geneva, Angular, PowerBI, Tableau, Agile - beneficial to have experience with any of these
