Job Summary
Design and implement embedded system software from requirements to production deployment, including coding, testing, debugging, and optimizing I/O performance. Review code and design, integrate new product designs, and provide post-production support while assessing third-party and open-source software. Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure system stability and scalability. This role requires 5+ years of embedded systems experience with real-time operating systems and Android HALs. Located in Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City with competitive compensation and premium healthcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years working experience in software engineering
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
- Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools and peer review
- Working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket version control
- Experience working with API integration
- Development experience within embedded systems/firmware design
- Experience in dealing with complex systems and codebases (HALs, sub-systems, etc.)
- Experience bringing up Android devices
- Experience with Android system software and Android HALs
- Experience with Java programming, Android Auto, Android applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with autonomous driving or ADAS perception systems
- Background in SLAM, 3D reconstruction, occupancy networks, or sensor simulation
- Track record of publications in top-tier conferences
