Senior Buyer

Plan and procure assigned commodities to align with production schedules and operational needs, managing purchase orders for on-time delivery. Negotiate supplier contracts to optimize costs, reduce lead times, and lower inventory levels while collaborating with cross-functional teams on material availability and pricing. Act as the primary contact for Business Development, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and suppliers to resolve material issues and support cost-reduction initiatives. Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and material obsolescence to inform procurement strategies and assist with new product introduction proposals.
