Job Summary
Senior Buyer, Produce position leading procurement strategy across produce and dairy for Eataly North America. Responsible for sourcing, contract negotiation, development/maintenance of product catalogs, inventory and forecasting management, and building producer/vendor relationships. Oversees cost analyses, margin optimization, market pricing, and identifies opportunities for cost savings and product innovation. Collaborates cross-functionally with R&D, Culinary, Marketing, and store leadership to curate assortments and support new product launches and promotions. Occasional travel to Eataly North America locations; based in New York, NY. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years of purchasing experience; strong data/analytical skills and knowledge of produce and dairy markets; Italian product knowledge is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of five years of experience in purchasing or related category management roles
- Strong data and analytical skills
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Italian product knowledge preferred
