Job Summary
Manage inventory and safety stock levels for direct materials supporting ZOLL production while planning and placing purchase orders for assigned components based on cost, lead time, and ECO changes. Utilize Oracle and MRP systems to forecast demand, review supplier capacity plans, and maintain metrics to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to supplier commitments. Collaborate with engineering and commodity teams to review material changes, identify cost reduction opportunities, and lead improvement projects with internal teams and external suppliers. Oversee vendor returns, track inventory, and maintain proper documentation while supporting New Product introductions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, seven years of buying/planning experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment, and proficiency with MRP systems and Microsoft tools.
