Job Summary
Own end-to-end supply chain and supplier relationships for assigned commodities, evaluating capacity to support customer demand and analyzing requirements to place purchase orders. Manage inventory within predefined Min/Max levels, negotiate with suppliers to mitigate delivery issues, and escalate EOL/LTB decisions regarding pricing and lead times. Collaborate with A/P and MRB teams to reconcile discrepancies, process RTV's, and update ECR's/ECO's while leading annual regulatory audits for FDA, TUV, and ISO. Identify supply chain risks and offer creative solutions, partnering with Sourcing on special projects and managing NPI transitions to production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of purchasing experience
- Experience purchasing & planning electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical components
- Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers
- Experience in supply planning and/or experience managing subcontract PO's
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and present information
- Ability to create partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Understanding of S & OP process
- Understanding of MRP systems, bill of materials, engineering change order processes
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Travel up to 10% of the time

- APICS and ISM Certifications
