Job Summary
Senior Buyer responsible for end-to-end procurement execution for BESS projects, coordinating with engineering to align procurement with technical requirements, managing RFQs/RFPs, monitoring supplier performance and delivery schedules, and tracking market trends in utility/electrical equipment. Requires experience in renewable energy or energy storage, project-based procurement, strong analytical skills, proficiency with Excel and ERP/Procurement tools (Procure and NetSuite), and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Hybrid role with in-office presence 3–4 days per week. Mexico City-based with opportunities across US/Mexico locations depending on role, and a focus on supplier relationships with OEMs and integrators, expediting, and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
