Job Summary
Senior Buyer role for Murphy in the energy sector focusing on procurement of sub-contractors and materials for EPC/transmission and distribution projects. Develop regional procurement strategy, structure and manage supply chains to deliver best overall value, conduct robust negotiations, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance. Build and collaborate with strategic supply chain partners, monitor market pricing trends and risks, and align with regional operating unit demands and Murphy strategy. Requires experience in procurement within construction/civil engineering environments and CIPS accreditation.
