Job Summary
Place and expedite purchase orders and internal stock transfer orders while maintaining supplier relationships and managing the Approved Supplier List. Analyze inventory levels to prevent surpluses or stockouts, ensuring product availability and managing delivery schedules across global sites. Provide root cause analysis based on data collection, support R&D and engineering on new projects, and manage cross-functional initiatives like new product rollouts. Troubleshoot AP issues with the MRP system to ensure timely supplier payments. Requires 5+ years of supply chain experience, proficiency in SAP and Visual MRP, and a bachelor's degree. Reports to the Manager of Supply Chain Planning.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years Supply Chain, Operations, and/or other business experience
- Inventory management experience
- The demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow-up to ensure positive results
- Proven analytical/quantitative skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- SAP, MRP, ERP systems experience
- Experience in purchasing or materials management
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or postgraduate
- Visual MRP experience
- APICS certification
- Previous experience with demand and inventory
