Senior Buyer - Indirect Commodity

Job Summary
Proactively source new suppliers and manage RFQ/RFP processes to support company capacity and revenue growth. Transform internal requisitions into formal purchase orders by validating pricing and accuracy, then confirm deliveries and expedite with suppliers. Handle urgent requests outside normal planning cycles, resolve invoice or PO variances with account payable and end users, and manage returns for faulty products. Partner with Operations, HR, Finance, and IT to understand requirements and evaluate supplier performance through KPIs and business reviews. Ensure all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and audit requirements while supporting global manufacturing and service centers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Adminstration, Finance or related fields
- Proactive problem solver with strong planning orientation
- Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively and professionally to changing requirements
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient with SAP or Ariba or Oracle
- Excellent PC skills including Excel, Word, MS Standard Office
- Proven record of at least 5 years on managing a diverse portfolio of Indirect Categories at senior buyer position
- Experience in supply chain management in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Supporting Procure to Pay process including PO issuance and supplier shipment
- Willing to be assigned to a full-time, onsite position at either the Sta. Rosa, Laguna or Rosario, Cavite site
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a very high growth rate electronic business is preferred
