Develop and implement sourcing and commercial strategies for engineered equipment and bulk materials by preparing master bid lists and managing open or closed invitation to bids. Negotiate best prices and commercial conditions with suppliers, lead pre-award meetings, and issue purchase orders while maintaining ethical standards. Maintain key supplier relationships to leverage market intelligence, expediting major equipment and tracking status reports through procurement systems. Assist construction on overages or shortages, confirm payment milestones, and coordinate shipment releases with the project team. Lead supplier conferences to resolve critical issues and provide onboarding support to team members.
