Job Summary
Senior Buyer responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of MRP purchasing activities to support uninterrupted production. This role directly impacts material availability, operational continuity, and cost efficiency, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive supply chain performance. Key responsibilities include placing purchase orders on time, monitoring supplier performance (OTD), expediting to mitigate shortages, resolving PO discrepancies, ensuring material coverage across short to long horizons, controlling inventory for availability and cost, maintaining exception reports, managing ECNs and supporting NPI projects, leading phase in/phase out initiatives, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Advanced English, SAP purchasing experience, ECN/phase out knowledge, and strong Excel skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in purchasing, MRP, or supply chain
- Advanced English level
- Experience with SAP (purchasing module)
- Knowledge of engineering changes (ECNs) and phase in/phase out processes
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
