Job Summary
Senior Buyer responsible for material requirements planning and coordinating with manufacturing and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components, securing purchases at cost, quality, and delivery levels in line with company policy. Manages supplier quotes, negotiates prices/terms, establishes and maintains supplier relationships, and develops supplier improvement programs. Supports inventory accuracy, initiates purchase orders, coordinates with engineering/operations/customer service to ensure timely procurement, and drives continuous improvement in sourcing strategies and supplier performance for multiple categories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or financial field (supply chain, operations, engineering, finance)
- 5+ years in supply chain, sourcing, procurement
- Experience with MRP / ERP systems
- PC proficient, working knowledge of MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills
