Senior Buyer

Establish source of supply, negotiate price and delivery dates, and execute purchase orders in accordance with Amentum procedures and federal regulations. Evaluate proposals and quotations to determine offer responsiveness, then conduct discussions and negotiations to make procurement decisions based on best value. Review and process purchase requisitions, manage purchase order files, and perform closeouts while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, agency regulations, and contractor policies. Maintain procurement records for government audits and provide status updates to requesters regarding procurement actions. Requires a Master's degree with three years of experience or equivalent education and experience, an active Secret US Government Clearance, and proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
