Job Summary
Conduct discovery sessions with internal business partners to gather requirements and map current-state workflows. Develop proof-of-concept solutions that validate technical approaches before full implementation, actively applying AI tools to analyze, draft, and build. Document findings, including process maps and requirements, while identifying inefficiencies and gaps in existing workflows. This Senior Business Systems Analyst supports First American's CRAFT team in expanding capabilities for AI, automation, and process improvement across engagement types.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Typically 4–7 years of directly related experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable conducting interviews and working sessions with managers and their teams to gather requirements and map processes
- Active user of AI tools in professional work — beyond basic prompting; you use AI to get real work done
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage your own work and deliver reliably across multiple concurrent assignments
- Experience with Cursor or other AI-powered productivity tools
- Familiarity with process mapping, requirements documentation, or business analysis frameworks
- Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools
- Background in financial services, title insurance, or other regulated industries
