Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary
Senior Business Systems Analyst bridging clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams within the card payments space. Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and solution refinement; analyze and document business, functional, and technical requirements; perform impact assessments across systems and integrations; translate requirements into clear specifications for Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams. Analyze APIs, file specifications, and payment messaging protocols (including ISO 8583); query and analyze transaction, merchant, and product data to support solution design. Support SIT/UAT and production releases; lead remote and on-site stakeholder workshops; maintain accurate project documentation; act as trusted advisor to clients throughout delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience within card payments industry
- Hands-on experience in card issuing, merchant acquiring, payment processing, card schemes, or related payment technology
- Strong understanding of card payments ecosystems and transaction processing platforms
- Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and impact analysis
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and client-facing engagements independently
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production releases
