Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, identifying gaps within eCommerce architecture and NetSuite financial workflows. Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams to elicit, document, and manage functional requirements for new features, international deployments, and financial process improvements. Maintain expert knowledge of core eCommerce platforms and NetSuite integrations to optimize digital storefront performance, troubleshoot system issues, and define requirements for order-to-cash workflows and revenue recognition. Develop comprehensive test plans, coordinate User Acceptance Testing sessions, and validate technical solutions meet business objectives in a multi-region, multi-channel environment. Support the rollout and post-implementation phases of NetSuite enhancements while collaborating with Finance teams on customizations and data validation rules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a retail, consumer goods, or technology environment
- 3+ years of direct experience working with major B2C or B2B eCommerce platforms and related systems
- 3+ years of NetSuite ERP experience, with demonstrated expertise in Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, revenue recognition)
- Demonstrable experience supporting or leading systems implementation aspects of international business expansion or cross-border trade projects
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical and financial information to non-technical audiences
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA), Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSPO, CSM), or NetSuite (e.g., NetSuite Administrator, NetSuite Financial User)
- Hands-on experience with multi-channel order management and fulfillment systems (Shopify, Amazon, marketplace platforms)
- Familiarity with global payment processing, fraud management tools, and international logistics providers
- Experience with ERP, CRM, PIM, and accounting system integrations in an eCommerce ecosystem
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, NetSuite dashboards) to evaluate system performance and business impact
- Experience with international tax compliance, multi-entity accounting, and currency management in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
