Job Summary
Support, enhance, and implement software applications used within the organization by designing and applying application/product enhancements. Identify opportunities to leverage technologies that improve business practices and synthesize requirements to develop recommendations meeting business objectives. Liaise with customers, end-users, IT personnel, and vendors to align technology functionality with operational processes. Assess, research, and document stakeholder needs while developing detailed test cases and executing them for approval. Work jointly with developers to solve issues, provide cost and time estimates on fixes, and perform longer-term analysis and design of systems to maintain production environments. Manage intermediate to large-scale projects by developing plans, timelines, and coordinating resources. Requires Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience; base pay ranges from $69,876 to $116,438. Full-time remote role at Sentara Health, a leading integrated healthcare provider.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a field such as Computer Science, Business, Technical, Education, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology
- 4 years of relevant experience
- Advanced SQL experience
- Experience with EDI-834 files
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with QNXT and/or Facets
- Member enrollment experience
- Experience with Clarity - ID card-related configuration and member eligibility processes
- Experience with Medicaid, commercial health plans, and marketplace coverage
- Proficiency in SQL, HTML, and CSS
