Job Summary
Senior Manager, Business Risk Management (BRM) for Deposits oversees risk management activities across the Deposits line, partnering with Deposits leadership to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, analyze, and report risks. Responsibilities include leading BRM activities, risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), development of KRIs/KPIs, oversight of operational risk events (OREs), issue management, and governance of ERM frameworks. The role requires providing independent risk advisory support to senior management, leading risk reporting, coordinating CDIC and AML/TF reporting, and ensuring remediation actions are sustainable. Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8+ years of progressive risk-related experience in a regulated Canadian financial institution, strong experience in RCSAs, risk assessments, and executive-level communications. The position offers a hybrid work model in Canada (Toronto and Montreal) with a base salary of CAD 125k–135k plus incentive potential, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.
