Job Summary
Source and onboard new business clients through strategic prospecting, community outreach, and internal referrals. Deepen existing relationships by understanding client priorities and proactively identifying opportunities for engagement and expansion. Manage a moderately complex book of business, drive portfolio growth by increasing core deposit balances, and structure secured and unsecured credit solutions within delegated authority. Conduct comprehensive financial and credit assessments including cash flow, collateral, and business operating cycles. Present credit recommendations and financial strategies to clients and internal stakeholders while managing risk exposure and ensuring alignment with underwriting policies. Collaborate with product teams to tailor solutions to client operating cycles and strategic goals. This Loan Originator position requires visiting customers and prospects outside the office within an assigned market. Candidates must meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z, including applicable financial responsibility, character, and criminal background standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of experience sourcing and or managing a portfolio of clients with $2mm - 25mm in annual revenue
- 3+ years of experience in business-to-business sales
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards
- Must meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
- Must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies
- Must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)

- Established network in the local market

- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
