Job Summary
Maintain day-to-day data administration of the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), addressing database issues and striving for continuous improvement. Configure the RMIS platform to meet internal and external client requirements, performing data conversion analysis, design, testing, control balancing, and exception resolution. Design and build reports and dashboards to transform data into meaningful insights while facilitating meetings to gather and document requirements. Communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and prepare training materials for new colleagues. Act as a mentor to less experienced staff and seek opportunities for process innovations. This role supports the Risk Management Team at McGriff, a Marsh McLennan Agency, delivering purposeful work and meaningful impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working with a Risk Management Information System (RMIS)
- 5+ years of P&C Insurance experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL Server, and Power BI skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong written/verbal communication, facilitation, teamwork, and organization skills
- Ability to execute independently with minimum guidance and oversight, including resolution of technical challenges, utilizing internal and external resources
- Ability to multitask and manage project timelines
- Ability to travel as needed for educational purposes, client meetings, team meetings, or conferences, expected to be less than 10% of the time
