Job Summary
Senior BI Developer in Knoxville, TN who will design, build, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines (SSIS, SQL Agent) ingesting from Hadoop, flat files, Excel, and APIs; develop data warehouses and subject-area marts using dimensional modeling and star schemas; create and maintain reports and dashboards in SSRS and Power BI, feeding Azure/SharePoint Lists and Dynamics CRM; translate business requirements into scoped work, lead data services initiatives, and mentor the team to adopt data warehousing best practices and governance; require advanced T-SQL, SSIS/SSRS, Power BI, and familiarity with data quality, lineage, and distributed data platforms; strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

- Minimum 8 years in Data & Analytics; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Advanced T-SQL (including query optimization), stored procedures, and views on Microsoft SQL Server — including Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL Database.
- Advanced SSIS, SQL Agent, and SSRS; advanced dimensional modeling and star schema design; working knowledge of SSAS.
- Advanced Power BI Desktop; Power BI Report Builder a plus.

- Ability to translate business requirements into scoped work items
- Experience with data pipelines ingesting Hadoop, flat files, Excel, and APIs
- Strong math and logical reasoning skills
